NANO BROWS
Nano brows are similar to microblading, but instead of using a manual blade, a tattoo machine with an ultra-fine needle is used to deposit pigment into the skin. This method creates extremely fine, hair-like strokes that blend seamlessly with your natural brows, giving you the most natural and soft look possible.

One of the biggest benefits of nano brows is that they work beautifully on all skin types, especially oily skin, which can sometimes struggle with microblading retention. They also tend to fade more gracefully, lightening over time without blurring or turning patchy.

Both microblading and nano brows can give you amazing results — it really just comes down to your skin type, lifestyle, and personal preference. If you’re someone who wants a softer, longer-lasting result or have struggled with microblading retention in the past, nano brows might be a better fit for you!

Results typically last between 1-3 years, depending on your skin type and lifestyle. They offer soft definition, natural hair-like strokes, and a much gentler approach to semi-permanent brow tattooing.
FAQ
Why choose nano brows?

If you've been considering microblading but want something a bit softer and longer lasting, nano brows might be the perfect option for you!

-
Works great on all skin types (including oily skin)
-
Fades gradually and evenly without harsh lines or patchiness
-
Less trauma to the skin, promoting faster healing
-
Creates soft, realistic hair strokes that blend naturally
Do you offer consultations?

Every appointment will start with a 15-20 minute consultation.

However, if you’re unsure whether microblading is best for you, a consultation can help determine that. The consultation includes a customized brow mapping & design to visualize your results, discuss your desired shape, color, and overall brow goals and the healing process. If you choose to book, the $50 will go toward your appointment, or any other service I offer.
What are the steps of the procedure?

Before the procedure, I will consult with you to determine the desired shape, fullness, and color of the eyebrows. I will then carefully map out the brow shape and start the process with a tattoo machine to create tiny, precise and airy strokes that mimic natural eyebrow hairs.
How long do nano brows last?

Nano brows will fade over time and will need to be refreshed typically every 1-3 years. Although it is considered a semi-permanent tattoo, dependent on how many sessions you have had it may not completely fade and will leave some residual pigment behind. Some factors that will cause your tattoo to fade faster:
-
Iron deficiency
-
Exfoliants
-
Sun exposure
-
Retinol, AHA’s and vitamin C
Does it hurt?

While some discomfort may be experienced during the process, numbing cream is used to minimize any pain.
Will my tattoo change color over time?

Over time your pigment will fade and get lighter in colour and turn more cooler or “ashy”. To prevent this from happening please book your refresher appointments accordingly so we can bring back the warmth in your brows.
Will I need a touchup?

A touch up is recommended for everybody 6-8 weeks after your initial session. Depending on how your tattoo has healed, we can alter the shape and colour of your tattoo, fill in spots that didn’t retain pigment as well or go darker and bolder. Touch up’s will make your tattoo last longer. Touch ups are an extra charge and can be booked no longer than 6 months from your initial session otherwise they will be considered “refresher appointments” and will incur an extra charge.

What if I have a previous tattoo by somebody else?

I do work over previous work done by other artists. This is a case by case basis. Depending on how dark your current tattoo is and your brow goals. If you have a previous tattoo please send a photo of them with no makeup on in natural lighting to info.inkandbeauty@gmail.com for approval prior to booking your appointment. In rare cases you may need to get lasered to completely remove the tattoo and start fresh.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
-
Do not drink excessive alcohol or coffee 24 hours prior to your appointment.
-
Botox in the brow area should be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after the procedure.
-
Avoid exercising the day of the procedure.
-
Do not take Advil or other blood thinners 48 prior to your appointment. Extra strength Tylenol can be taken if you have a low pain tolerance although numbing cream will be used.
-
Do not get brows threaded, waxed or plucked one week prior to appointment or 2 weeks afterwards.
-
Do not get any chemical peels or laser treatments 2 weeks before your appointment. These can be booked 2 weeks after your appointment.
What is aftercare like?

After the procedure, there is typically a healing period during which the eyebrows may appear darker than expected. Over the following 2 weeks, the pigment will fade slightly, and the brows will settle into their final color and shape. Touch-up appointments may be necessary to perfect the results and ensure longevity.

Wash morning and night for 7 days with a gentle cleanser provided. Wash within 4 hours of getting your brows done. Make sure to wash outside the shower. Look in the mirror while washing so you can be extra gentle. Only wipe gently in the direction of hair growth—no circles or hard rubbing. Wash with warm or cool water, and pat dry with a clean paper towel.

Keep dry (besides washing) until completely healed—aka no scabbing or flaking left! This usually takes about 10 days. Keep brows dry in the shower. Steamy hot showers will cause pores to open and scabs to soften, so to be cautious, avoid extra steamy hot showers.

Apply balm 3 times daily with a Q-tip. If you have oily skin, apply 2 times daily. Use only a tiny amount—the tube contains enough for both your initial session and touch-up.

Here is a timeline of what to expect during your 2 week healing process:
-
Day 2 - your eyebrows will appear the darkest they will be.
-
Day 3 - your eyebrows will appear patchy and look uneven.
-
Day 8 - your eyebrows will look like they have disappeared
-
Day 14 - your brows will come back in colour but may still appear patchy
-
At the 6 week mark your brows will be fully healed and can undergo a touch-up session.
How will I know when to come back in for a refresher appointment?

A refresher is typically booked every 1-3 years. Once your brows have faded in colour, the shape is not as prominent or the colour has turned more cool and the strokes are not as visible- it is time to book your refresher appointment. If you are unsure if you are in need of a refresher, please email me a photo of your eyebrows with no makeup on in natural lighting to info.inkandbeauty@gmail.com and I can give you my professional opinion.
Will nano brows cause damage to the skin?

Nano brows causes less trauma to the skin compared to microblading. Since nano brows use a machine and a single ultra-fine needle to deposit pigment, it’s a much gentler process. The needle glides over the skin, implanting pigment without creating deep cuts like microblading does. This results in less trauma, less scarring, and a smoother healing process.

The skin can still experience some irritation or redness after the procedure, but it typically heals fast and evenly. As long as proper aftercare is followed and the artist uses the correct technique and pressure, the skin should remain healthy without long-term damage.
What pigment do you use?

I use a mix of Meka and Brovi pigments for nano brows. Both are amazing high-quality brands that heal super soft and natural in the skin. I love using them because they give that natural, airy brow look without turning too ashy or warm over time.
Do you have a cancellation list?

Yes, you can add yourself to a cancellation list on the booking system for your preferred day and time.
